Waxing Poetics team up with Boweevils for a night of music that you won't want to miss! This ALL AGES show will feature two of Norfolk's best bands together for the first time in 30 years at Virginia's newest music venue: Elevation27 at Hilltop in Virginia Beach.
From 1983 into the early 1990s, few stars of the Hampton Roads music scene shined as brightly as Waxing Poetics. Although the indie rock band mutually agreed to call it quits in 1991, the members have stayed in touch and remained agreeable to doing the occasional reunion show.
The Boweevils, blending rock solid originals with great covers, began playing in Hampton Roads in 1985 and soon were playing clubs and colleges throughout Virginia, The band was featured in the 1990 and 1993 Handprints compilation albums.
